Other shopping opportunities can be found in one of the many malls all over Amman; and usually you will find smaller shops near the place where you live.\u00a0 There are also a number of more traditional souqs around the city.\u00a0 In general, many items are more expensive in Jordan because of high taxes and because many things are imported.
