Students will receive a Carnet de Urgencias<\/em> during the on-site orientation in Madrid, which they should carry on their person at all times.\u00a0 In addition, students should memorize the following emergency numbers:<\/p>\n

Intracity Travel<\/strong><\/h4>\n

Students in Madrid will be given a Tarjeta de Transporte<\/em>. It will provide a discount on the city\u2019s public transportation. This transportation pass must be renewed monthly, only costs 10\u20ac for students under the age of 26, and will save students who use public transportation daily a lot of money. If you travel less often you can buy Metrobus<\/em> tickets, each of which allows you to take the metro or bus a total of ten times. Ask for information regarding special tickets or passes in the School in Spain office.<\/p>\n

Maps from bookstores, kiosks, and the National Tourist Offices or their corresponding mobile apps can prove invaluable. Please do not hesitate to ask if you have any questions.<\/p>\n
