Heritage Seekers

If you are of Hispanic descent, studying in Spain may be the realization of a long-held desire to learn more about your own heritage and roots and improve your language skills. It may also be an important phase in developing your understanding of yourself as a heritage learner.  At the same time, be prepared for the possibility of feeling “caught between two worlds” and experiencing your own kind of cultural transitions. Do not expect Spain to be the same as other Spanish-speaking countries where you may have previously lived or visited.
